Climate and Environmentalism Books
Our co-founders Luke and Agathe both worked in climate and sustainability jobs for well over a decade before starting Sherlock & Pages. Indeed, Agathe still continues her work in climate diplomacy for cities. Much to their frustration, they often noticed how poorly climate and environmental books were categorised. One homogenous blob of books vaguely nature related were presented to customers, often mixed with a bit of travel. As such, Sherlock & Pages have separated out Climate and Environmentalism books from our nature writing offer - although sometimes difficult - and created several curated sub-categories including ‘Environmental Philosophy’, ‘Climate Impacts,’ ‘Energy Futures,’ and more. In this way, we hope our bookshop can appeal to those with a particular interest in these topics - those who we also hope will play a significant role in building a better future for us all.
