Sherlock & Pages is a trading name of “House of Sherlock. 

Customer Details

  1. After registering the Sherlock & Pages website you must select a contact email and associated password. You are responsible for the sessions and transactions taken utilising these details. As such, should protect your password and avoid disclosing this information. If you feel these details have been compromised you should amend them immediately. 

  2. If your credit card and/or billing address change you are responsible for ensuring the correct and updated details are utilised on Sherlock & Pages website.

Purchases with Sherlock & Pages

  1. Purchases on this website (sherlockandpages.com) are made with ‘House of Sherlock Limited’ registered at 2 Catherine Hill, Frome, Somerset, England BA11 1BY, company registration number 14968700

  2. Sherlock & Pages require full payment of an order before processing. Once full payment has been received Sherlock & Pages will confirm the order via the email address you have provided – including your name, order number and price. This formalises a contract between you and Sherlock & Pages in reference to the terms outlined in the email. These will be the only terms accepted as part of the contract.

  3. Sherlock & Pages retain the right to withdraw from any contract if there are mistakes relating to the products listed on our website. In the case of a mistakenly listed product, including a mistake on pricing or availability, we will contact you via email. In these cases, we will propose amending pricing or cancelling and refunding the order.  

Your Withdrawal from our Contract, Including Non-Damage related Returns

  1. You have the right to withdraw from the contract between us up to 14 calendar days after receiving the goods. There will be no penalty but you must bear the cost of returning the goods to Sherlock & Pages, 2 Catherine Hill, Frome, Somerset, England, BA11 1BY

  2. This will not be the case if you received goods from Sherlock & Pages which were in sealed packaging and have taken them out of this packaging. 

  3. To withdraw from the contract between us for a specific order you write to info@sherlockandpages.com to notify Sherlock & Pages.

  4. Following withdrawing from the contract between us, the amount debited to Sherlock & Pages in relation to that specific order will be re-funded to your account within 30 days.

Delivery

  1. Sherlock & Pages will arrange postage or a courier for the goods you ordered to the person and address in your order. For deliveries outside the UK the person the consignment is sent will act as the declarant and importer. This individual will be responsible for customs clearance and payment of any applicable customs duties and local taxes.

  2. Sherlock & Pages aim to organise order processing, dispatch and delivery as quickly as possible. In all circumstances, delivery should be within 30 days of the order although we aim for far quicker delivery times in most cases. Any delivery times quoted by Sherlock & Pages are estimates only.

Customs Charges

When ordering goods for delivery outside the UK your consignment may be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax), other taxes, customs duties and/or fees levied by the destination country. All these charges which are levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. Sherlock & Pages has no control over or responsibility for additional charges that relate to customs clearance. Please check with your local customs office ahead of ordering to seek clarification, as circumstances will vary depending upon destination country.

Damages & Failed Delivery

  1. If the goods Sherlock & Pages arranges to be delivered to you are incorrect or damaged Sherlock & Pages will not be reliable unless you notify Sherlock & Pages at info@sherlockandpages.com within 10 working days of the delivery of the relevant goods. You will be asked to provide photo documentation of damages. 

  2. In cases where you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which they were dispatched, you will need to notify Sherlock & Pages in writing at info@sherlockandpages.com within 40 days of the date on which the goods were dispatched to you in order for Sherlock & Pages to accept any liability.

  3. Upon receiving notification in the circumstances outlined in points a. and b. above Sherlock & Pages sole obligation will be to rectify a non-delivery with re-delivery of the ordered goods and to replace any damaged goods; or refund the order in question.

  4. Sherlock & Pages accept no liability to pay any compensation in the cases of failed deliveries or damages.

  5. None of these points will limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law 

Governing Law

Any contract between us will be made under English law and the jurisdiction of English Courts, in relation to resolving disputes. 

Clarification of Terms

  • 'Sherlock & Pages' means ‘House of Sherlock Limited’;

  • 'us' means Sherlock & Pages and you together; and

  • 'you' and 'your' means the person ordering goods
