History Books
Sherlock & Pages is a conservation bookshop. To us this means taking care of what we’ve inherited and all that we have a responsibility to pass on. The past, the present and the future all become important. Therefore, maintaining a vibrant and intellectual history section is vital to us at Sherlock & Pages. What are we without our stories? Without a past? We are particularly strong on British History and like to think our shelves could take a customer on a journey from the origins of the country and well into the 20th century. Elsewhere, we have books that might catch the eye in categories such as ‘The History of Commodities and Objects’ or ‘Great Cities.’ The whispers of those gone before us are all around, why not pick up a history blockbuster today and be whisked into some of the greatest stories of all time.
