Imagine a World... is a picture book by Jenny Clark, illustrated by Katie O'Rourke, in which a girl named Emily spends a rainy day letting her imagination run wild.

With her imaginary mermaid friend Freya, she dreams up shimmering night skies, sunshine-coloured flowers, giant ocean creatures and fiery volcanoes.

When Emily wishes her imaginary world were real, Freya reveals that it already is, and that it belongs to her to explore, treasure and protect.

Combining an engaging read-aloud refrain with gentle environmental themes, the book celebrates both the natural world and the power of a child's imagination, and includes extra activities for children aged four and up to extend the story beyond the page.
