Voyages -- Sidetracked Beyond, published by gestalten in collaboration with Sidetracked magazine, is a large-format collection celebrating ambitious, human-powered journeys around the world.

It gathers first-hand accounts of long-distance adventures -- from ultra-distance mountain running to continental bikepacking expeditions -- that take in mountains, deserts, oceans and polar regions.

United by the idea that the longest journeys change us in ways we can hardly imagine when we set out, the book combines striking photography with storytelling that captures both the physical challenge and the personal transformation at the heart of true adventure.
