Mia Makes a Meadow

Mia Makes a Meadow tells the story of two young neighbours with opposite instincts: Mia loves puddles and mess, while Erik prefers everything neat and tidy.

When Erik goes away on a long journey, Mia is left to look after their shared garden alone and lets nature take its course.

Their once-manicured lawn transforms into a wild, flower-filled meadow buzzing with pollinators and insects, and the story follows what happens when Erik returns to find it changed.

Aimed at children aged four and up, this illustrated picture book gently explores themes of wildflower and butterfly conservation, environmental stewardship and emotional wellbeing, and includes extra pages of facts and illustrations to help young readers identify the plants and insects in the story.
