"Right Story, Wrong Story: Adventures in Indigenous Thinking" is Tyson Yunkaporta's follow-up to his acclaimed "Sand Talk".

In it, he brings Indigenous ways of thinking into conversation with economists, memory researchers, ecologists, and Indigenous Elders to explore how a people's relationship to land shapes the way they relate to one another and to knowledge itself.

Structured as a series of thought experiments modelled on Aboriginal yarning traditions, where every contribution to a story, however contradictory, is given a place, the book asks what separates a "right" story from a "wrong" one, and ultimately offers an essay on teaching, learning, and thinking collectively in ways attuned to land and creation.
